The AAPA campus facility is located in Wagga Wagga, NSW, accommodating up to 148 live in students at any one time. The Academy is currently looking for an experienced full time Chef.

Selection Criteria:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of dietary requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of catering for students with multicultural backgrounds
  • Experience in bulk service with occasional functions desirable but not essential
  • Current RSA or willingness to obtain
  • Current Food Safety Certificate
  • Knowledge of Asian cuisine desirable but not essential
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Must be able to work weekends public holidays if required
  • Professional high standard of personal presentation, kitchen hygiene and food handling
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to deliver excellent food quality and service

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 + Super
